Labor Day Weekend

What did the Elizabeth do over her Labor Day weekend in Atlanta, GA??

She went:

  • Shopping for a Maid of Honor Dress...(not the dress, but that is the color of it...)
  • Got GREAT Indian food with the fabulous Reva
  • Went to the Atlanta temple
  • Watched the DragonCon parade
Just to give you a taste of it...

  • Went tubing down a river...am I really that white??Solei and I hung out in the car so that her Mom, Dad and Uncle could go down the river...she was zoned out on Finding Nemo pretty much the whole time, although we did go down to the river once and we played "let's see how fast Elizabeth can run around the car because Solei thinks it's really funny and entertaining and keeps saying 'again'"...good times...
  • Ate boiled peanuts (sorry, no photo...)
  • AND ate some amazing BBQ...w/ hot n fresh Krispy Kremes for dessert
  • Watched Stranger Than Fiction on the fantabulous Reva's amazing theater downstairs...
  • Played TWO musical numbers w/ the Reva and her brother (one in her ward, the other in her old ward...LOOOOOOOOOONG story that I don't really want to talk about, but they both went well, so that's good...sorry, no picture)
  • Visited the cousin Scott and Penny and the ever so fun Jones and had an amazing pot roast w/ mashed potatoes n gravy and asparagus for dinner that Scott made all by himself...so proud...Jones really did like the food, I just liked this picture...I know, terrible of me liking a picture of him getting upset. I swear, except for ONE other picture, he has the exact same surprised expression on his face, so I was going for something different here...
  • Played 'when you win you get to make up a new rule UNO' which very quickly turned into Killer Uno which is SO fun to play...
  • Went to breakfast with Penny, Reva and Jones at La Madeleine's, which is by far my favorite breakfast place to eat...so far...see, surprised look...
  • Had a Grill out in the back yard, good food, good company...
Yep, good times, good times...

Good times indeed. What a fun vacation! Lovely dress color. You'll look very princess-y in it.
(Did you not love Stranger Than Fiction? I totally did.)
Tubing: awesome.
Solei: awesome-er.

Love the color of the Dress. Yes you really are that white, but not as white as me. And it is so good to see Reva! She looks amazing!

We live about 10 min from the Temple and 15 from the city where 75 and 285 meet (Northwest corner of 285).
